An SUV rear-ended a big-rig Sunday morning on the 210 Freeway causing a serious auto accident in Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol reports that the truck was pulled off and parked on the side of the road when the SUV hit it and then became engulfed in flames. While two of the SUV passengers were able to survive the crash, three of them were trapped in the car and killed. The driver of the big-rig was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Friday night a car was abandoned on the Metro Blue Line near the Vernon Avenue and Washington Boulevard Stations causing a train to crash into it. Star of the reality show Leave It To Lamas, Shayne Lamas, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of drunk driving. On Sunday, a vehicle hit a pedestrian near Cal State Long Beach putting the pedestrian in critical, but stable condition, according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram. The Long Beach Police Department has stated that the pedestrian was crossing against a red light at the time at the corner of Seventh Street and West Campus Road.
