An SUV rear-ended a big-rig Sunday morning on the 210 Freeway causing a serious auto accident in Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol reports that the truck was pulled off and parked on the side of the road when the SUV hit it and then became engulfed in flames. On Sunday, a vehicle hit a pedestrian near Cal State Long Beach putting the pedestrian in critical, but stable condition, according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram. The Long Beach Police Department has stated that the pedestrian was crossing against a red light at the time at the corner of Seventh Street and West Campus Road. The driver did stop after the accident and will most likely not be facing any charges based on police investigations and witness statements.
